R. Searing Merrill
President

After receiving his Bachelor of Science from Texas Christian University in Ft. Worth, Texas, Mr. Merrill began his career in banking. His stint as a manager and commercial lender at a national commercial bank continued for six years. After receiving his Masters of Business from The University of Tampa, he wanted to create unique investment and development opportunities, and in 1999 he founded Boykin Barnett.

Mr. Merrill has spent his entire life in Florida and lives in Tampa with his family.
